Chris O. Communications Adds Technology, Aerospace Clients
iGov, AIAA Substantiate Agency’s Reputation for Representing Select Customers
SEVERNA PARK, Md., April 19, 2007– Further raising its profile as an entrepreneurial firm that represents elite organizations, Chris O. Communications has reached agreement to provide public relations services for iGov, a specialist in IT solutions for federal agencies, and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the professional society devoted to the progress of engineering and science in aviation, space, and defense.
The agency will help reposition iGov (www.igov.com) as a professional services firm that provides the federal government with cost-effective software engineering, system integration, testing, and associated services. From its legacy as a value-added reseller, iGov has already made strides with its recent announcement as a prime contractor for the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) contract vehicle, and the Department of Homeland Security’s FirstSource contract for an array of IT products and services.
For the AIAA (www.aiaa.org), Chris O. Communications will develop a public relations manual for chapters to use when publicizing their events, guest speakers, and other activities that help fulfill the organization’s mission.
“Both of these organizations fit the profile of who we want to work for — they are the best at what they do, they make a big impact on their audiences, and they give us the opportunity to do portfolio-quality work,” says Chris Ourand of Chris O. Communications.
